How do I find the schools for a home?

Every Billings-area address is assigned to specific schools, and boundaries can change. Billings Public Schools covers most of Billings (billingsschools.org), and Laurel Public Schools covers homes in Laurel. Enter the home's address in the district's school boundary information, or send me the address and I'll look it up for you.

How does buying a home in Billings from out of state work?

  1. Schedule a call. We talk through your timeline, budget, and what you want in a home and an area.
  2. Take a tour. See homes in person, or I tour them for you live on video. When we find the one, I write the offer.
  3. Prepare to move. Get quotes for movers, storage and travel. If your move is for work, ask your employer about relocation reimbursement.
  4. Under contract. Closings usually take about 30 to 45 days, and cash purchases can close sooner. I coordinate inspections and closing, in person or remotely.
  5. Close and move in. Plan any updates before your things arrive. My list of trusted local vendors is yours.

What are a few local favorites?
